the island of Sumatra famous for his nicotine
addiction.
Aldi Rizal started smoking when he was just
18 months old. Now he's hooked and on 40 a
day. And don't think of denying him his fix.
The toddler goes crazy, screaming, slamming
his head on the floor, even getting sick if
he doesn't get his two packs a day.
His father Muhammed, who introduced him to
smoking, has to find the equivalent of 5 dollars
a day to pay for the cigarettes. He insists
that his son is healthy.
Luckily, Aldi is now at rehab under Indonesia's national commission child protection supervision.
