Got old PowerPoint presentations? Wanna make them zoom? Put them in Prezi!
From the top-menu, choose Insert, and then select "Powerpoint...".
Find your PowerPoint file, and click open.
Be patient! It takes time to convert big presentations. Awesome zooming is worth a few seconds.
You can either choose to drag and drop certain slides onto the canvas, or choose a layout
style and import all slides at once.
Once it's done, you may need to move your content around, and some objects may appear
behind others. For more check out our dedicated PowerPoint import tutorial.
If you're an Enjoy, EDU Enjoy, Pro, or EDU Pro user, you can change the prezi logo for
your own when you present.
Click Themes, select 'Customize Current Theme', and then click Upload under 'Custom Logo'.
Find the image you want to use, and click open. When you're ready, click done.
Now, when you present, you'll see your logo appear in the bottom-left corner.
When you present, Prezi uses something we like to call smart zooming.
Instead of zooming to random points in your presentation, you can click on any object
to zoom right up to it.
Click away from the object to zoom back out.
Quick tip - hit ctrl+the space bar to quickly zoom out to the complete overview of your
prezi.
Okay! You've got frames, content, and some fade-in animations in your prezi. Now you're
ready for your audience.
Click 'Share'.
From here you can choose to email your prezi to other people so that they can edit or view
your prezi, but you'll need to have a Prezi account to do any editing.
Or you can download it as a Portable Prezi.
This is a stand alone version of your prezi that you can use just for presenting.
It doesn't require a Prezi account to work, so you can send it to anyone and they can
see your creation wherever they are.
Be aware that you'll need to send the entire zipped folder, and you may need to use a third-party
file hosting service, as the content may be too large to attach to an email.
There you go, the top tips that will help you create zooming masterpieces and be a great
presenter.
