Hey guys! This is top cap GoPro mount that would mount
on your mountain bike or road bike in place of the regular top cap.
I'm going to do a quick overview and quick install and then I'll show you some footage,
some angles that it looks at when you're using it on the bike.
You can see that it's about 11 or 12 grams. It seems to be well built.
Made in the USA. It was sold by "Modernmounts" is the sellers
ID on ebay and they've got some other interesting GoPro mounts if you want to take a look at
that. This replacement top cap is 10 grams so about
the same weight. Not that it matters much.
Anyway, I'll show you a quick install. To install this top cap mount, it's really
pretty straight forward. You need a 5mm allen wrench.
It is metric. You just unscrew the top cap bolt.
Do not unscrew the stem bolts otherwise your bars and your wheel get unaligned and you
just don't need to mess with that. So it just comes off easily.
You'll use the same bolt. And you get the mount and drop it on there
and put the bolt through. Just screw it on.
Pretty straight forward. No you need to align it however you want to
shoot your videos. The bolt is loose right now but you can turn
the mount if you want to do angle shots or something like that.
Just line it up and then snug the bolt down. It doesn't need to be super tight.
Don't crank down to *** that. You could damage some bearings in your headset.
That's it for the install. After that,
your camera case fits on pretty easily. Just use your regular thumb screw to atatch
it. You can play with the angle and rotation to
get whatever shot you want. It's pretty straight forward.
You can also turn the camera around to get a view of teh rider.
Anyway, I'm going to show you some different views here.
