Hi! I'm Chef Rainer Wickel and I am here today with expertvillage.com. Now we've finished
making our marinade and now it is time to pour the marinade over the shrimp. Now remember
we came along and peeled the shrimp and we de-veined them and we cleaned them. Make sure
that we are at that point. Now we've put them into this dish and the reason why we put them
in this dish is we are actually going to pour the marinade over this and then we are going
to put this and cover in tin foil and put into the refrigerator and let it marinate
for about 4 hours so all that flavor gets into the shrimp before we actually put them
on the skewers and grill them. So go ahead and grab the bowl that you have the marinade
in and use your whisk one last time to make sure the ingredients are nicely mixed through
so just whisk it one more time and then just pour the marinade over the shrimp. Now you
can see that the shrimp is soaking in the marinade. Make sure that you spread them out
so that they are all nicely in there and once again now we need to let these marinate for
about 4 hours. So go ahead and grab some tin foil and put it over the dish. Make sure to
seal it up nice and tight. We don't want any air going into it so just press it around
the sides. Once you have it on there, just press down a little bit to make sure that
it seals nice and tight and that's ready. So now what we need to do is we are going
to put this into the refrigerator and let this marinate for about 4 hours and it is
going to soak up all that really good flavor and we are putting it on the skewers and we
are putting on the grill. This is how we add the marinade to our shrimp to make our Tequila
Lime Shrimp skewers.
