>> TRE: Now the gadget you've chosen for today, I've been reading about it trying to work out exactly what it is and how it works.
>> TRE: And then I thought I don't need to do that 'cause you can tell me about it [Laughter].
>> TRE: What is it and how does it work? >> NIKKI: Right so basically it's called a MirrorCase and its a case designed for the iPhone 4/4S
>> NIKKI: So you get the case and simply attach it to your phone and what it does, it allows you to take photographs and video by holding your phone horizontally
>> NIKKI: Can you imagine the way you would hold the remote control for the television? You hold your phone that way rather than people who are fimiliar with shooting on their iphone, you have to hold it up in front of your face vertically
>> NIKKI: ...and you kind of miss what's going on. I know when I'm with my kids and I end up filming stuff in the garden and I don't really see what's going on because the phone is in front of my face
>> NIKKI: So this you can rest it on a table, hold it horizontally and say if you've got a presentation you want to record, or your at a party and your want to rest it on a table and record someone dancing
>> NIKKI: you can leave it on the table, press the button and it will just record without you having to hold it up in front of your face trying to fumble with it. >> TRE: Wow! That's great!
>> NIKKI: Yeah so it's really neat, its made of quite sturdy material and also acts as a protective case for your iphone which is good. It has a flash which can be redirected and used as a torch (Flash light), so it's got another function as well
>> NIKKI: And the way this actual case is designed, the curve that allows you to stand it on a table rested, it goes up a bit and has a little curve at the top which you can also use as a shoulder rest when you're speaking on the phone
>> NIKKI: So if you're on the phone alot people hunch their shoulder up to hold the phone, its a little shoulder rest as well. So its got quite a lot of uses, but the main use is that its just a better way to take photographs and shoot videos with this horizontal feature
>> TRE: Wow that's clever isn't it? So you can also take photos that way and not just videos?
>> NIKKI: Yes it's photos videos and then what it does it goes into your camera roll (which people who have gotten an iphone will be fimiliar with)
>> NIKKI: and then you can just upload that to your computer or your favorite social network sites, like you normally would with any other photo on your phone. It's very easy to use!
>> TRE: Great! And that's the MirrorCase for iPhone, how much is it? >> NIKKI: It's around 30 pounds ($49 USD) >> TRE: Oh that's good!
>> NIKKI: Yeah its not too bad especially if you're a person who takes a lot of video, or even uses it in a work capacity if you need to record presentations and stuff.
>> TRE: Okay, Once you buy it, you then Download an app don't you? The MirrorCase app
>> NIKKI: Yeah, so you can get the MirrorCase app from the iTunes App store: download that and then obviously all of your photos and videos will be saved to the camera roll
>> NIKKI: So yeah, you put the case on, have the MirrorCase app, and away you go
