Easy Microwave Cheesecakes, for Dukan diet.
Ingredients:
2 cups / 500 grams fat free quark or fromage frais
2 tablespoons
of corn starch
3 large eggs
Sweetener
A pinch of salt
and some flaworing of your choice, like banana flaworing (it's optional)
Let's combine all the ingredients
in a large bowl.
2 heaped tablespoons of corn starch
3 large eggs,
whipped
and fat free quark / fromage frais
(if you can't find fat free quark,
use 18 oz fat free
cream cheese instead)
These cheesecakes are very easy to make.
Just blend everything together until
you get a smooth batter.
Like this, and
that's all. Now, add a pinch of salt,
and sweetener to taste
I'm using 4 teaspoons of liquid sweetener,
but it's up to you. We wan't the batter to be sweet,
but not sickly sweet, ok?
When choosing a sweetener for this recipe
choose one wich is safe for baking,
Don't use Aspartame, for example
because is not suitable for baking,
and besides it tastes really bad when cooked at high temperatures.
So, read the label on the bottle or package
to be sure it says it is suitable
for cooking and baking at home.
As I told you before, you just have to mix the ingredients
and the batter is ready
to pour into a
nonstick silicone mold,
one you can use for bakin in a microwave oven
like this one here.
Using this muffin mold
I'll get 6 cheesecakes,
portion size.
Pour the cheesecake batter
carefully
into the silicone mold
and then we transfer the mold the batter
to the microwave
and bake on high (1000 wats)
for 7 to 12 minutes.
I'm going to show you a batch that is
allready done.
Look at them,
here we have
six cheesecakes baked to perfection,
with a nice golden colour.
They come out the mold
nice and easy.
They taste better when chilled.
And they are moist, kind of juicy,
with a thin crust
on the surface. If you don't want them to
get a crust, cover the mold
with kitchen plastic cling film
before baking. Or you can just turn the
cheesecakes upside down when serving.
