I'm Simon Shirley, I've been riding bikes now for about forty three years, I'm a commuter
and I do about 14,000 miles every 18 months.
My name's Anthony Park, I've been riding bikes since I was about twelve years old
We're currently racing in Superstock 1000 at British Superbikes.
My name's Justin Moors, I've been riding for just over 10 years
and my preferred riding style is touring.
First time I saw it I was a little bit surprised
at how big the actual unit was but
when I first got to ride the bike and and actually try it out, it surprised me that
you can't actually notice it.
It's just in your peripheral vision. So, certain information like the
band of speed you are in
you're just aware of the colour there.
Its impressed me because I don't have to look at my clocks
and try and re-focus. You've also got various other gadgets on there like
rev ranges and what have you, which are great fun.
The biggest advantage of the heads up display
is that it gives you your split sectors and it will tell your times when you're qualifying.
You can set it up on your sectors on the track so you can get a
green light to show you're on a quicker lap, a red light on a slower lap
I think it does enhance the ride because it gives you so much information that you need
When I've been touring through mountainous regions, you're going through a lot of corners
a lot of tight hairpins
and you need to be looking where you going so I think it's a
real benefit to have it when you're riding and certainly, touring.
I enjoy it because it gives me a better perception of the road ahead.
It is great fun, it really has improved my riding considerably.
