Hello everyone,
I've been asked to talk about this week's homework,
named: "Comparison is the thief of joy".
And as many of you may have realized, one of the biggest habits of the mind is: comparing.
It is constantly comparing, for example, the experience we are having right now with the one we had yesterday ascending,
or it compares ourselves with other people.
What I have discovered, because this something that has happened to me a lot,
I would specially compare me with how I was before,
how I was last year, or when I learned to ascend,
the experience I had then and how it is different now.
"I must be doing something wrong"
So, what I have discovered is that comparison is another habit, another tool
the mind uses to distract us from this moment.
And the mind comes from many conclusions from comparing,
but they are really a train of thoughts
pulling us out of the present moment.
So, this week's homework will be,
to observe the times when the mind starts comparing,
see it as the thought it is,
and immediately return to introducing our techniques,
or directly to the Silence.
We are going to see how all that we are looking for, that joy that we are looking for, is Here Now,
despite what the mind tells us.
I hope you enjoy the homework, be very alert for comparison,
share it, and lets see how it goes. A big hug to everyone, thank you for your time.
