We work with a lot of renters. And uh for them to be prepared to come to New York, we
always suggest that ahead of time they have all their ducks in a row as far as their paperwork,
such as letters of verification of their employment, last used tax returns, bank statements, letters
of reference from former employers or former landlords. Those kinds of things, that should
be all set-up ahead of time. They should have that with them when they come, because that
way when they find an apartment that they really like, they can move on it right away.
We have a very fast-paced rental market, very little inventory, and people need to make
a decision and have the proper documentation in order to, be able to make that decision
and move quickly.
