Today’s Tekzilla Daily is brought to you by Squarespace. Welcome to Tekzilla Daily,
I’m Veronica Belmont.
With the upgrade of OS-10 Lion, many users, including myself have been ranting about the
incompatibility with our favorite apps. Well, before you fall victim to the same fate, why
not make sure your must-have apps will actually work.
Just head over to the app compatibility table available at roaringapps.com. Just click the
red button labeled ‘view the compatibility table” button and you’ll see a list of
almost OS10 app you can think of. And, on the right, an icon will indicate its status
with Lion. A red check means it’s fine, yellow means there are some issues, red means
it plain won’t work and blue means it hasn’t been tested yet.
If you click the title of an app, you’ll see more details, including user comments
and what specifically works and what doesn’t. So before you take the plunge and upgrade
to Lion, make sure your essential apps won’t break with the App Compatibility Table.
Now, if you’ve got a tip for us to pass on to the rest of the TZ crew, just email
us Tekzilla@Revision3.com. And as always, tekzilla.com… it’s the place to find more
tips, tricks, product reviews and how to’s.
