Making V-grooves with the 8-fold combination milling machine.
The raw part still within protection foil.
Just pull PLEXIGLAS® part through under the milling cutter.
Move part steadily.
All four sides are milled.
The milling cutter has a 45° angle.
The industrial vacuum gets rid of the swarfs.
The V-groove just leaves 0.3 mm / 1/8" material on backside!
The result is worth looking at.
Just take off protection foil from the backside.
Put Box-gluing tape onto the backside of the grooves.
Cut neat with a scalpel knife.
Rub capillary activator into the V-grooves.
Rub dry with a second paper towel.
The V-grooves can easily be broken up by hand.
The box gluing tape on the backside keeps parts together.
Break out all four edge tiles.
Cut in box gluing tape on ONE SIDE.
The box gluing tape has a Stretch-Effect. Guess why?
The Stretch-Effect pulls the side parts together!
After 5 minutes Box ready to be glued with adhesive.
Fill in adhesive with a pipette.
Well done, Roland.
