Welcome to AT&T "How To" videos. Today, we will show you how to connect to
a Wi-Fi network hotspot with the Pantech Discover™. Please Note: Wi-Fi is on by default. When
enabled, and in range of a saved Wi-Fi network or an AT&T Wi-Fi Hotspot Location, the phone
will connect automatically. Data transmitted over a Wi-Fi Network does not count toward
your AT&T data plan, and will not be billed. To begin, from the home screen, tap the Menu
Key, and then select Settings. Here tap Wi-Fi. Please Note: Tap the Wi-Fi
toggle to turn on or off. Wi-Fi is enabled by default.
Tap the desired Wi-Fi network. Please Note: Tap Add Network to connect to a hidden or
unbroadcasted Wi-Fi Network. Please contact your network administrator for additional
information. If your device is connecting to a secure network,
enter the password and then tap Connect. Please Note: Secure networks will be displayed with
a lock to the left of the signal icon. Once connected, a Wi-Fi indicator will be
displayed in the status bar. An orange Wi-Fi icon indicates an AT&T Mobile
Hotspot connection is established. An illuminated blue Wi-Fi icon indicates that
a connection has been established on a Private or Public Hotspot.
