Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I am speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. The next
thing I am going to talk aboiut is called the pool. If you go up to pool and click open
pool window, it is going to open up this dialog on, this is your actual pool, and what you
see here is a bunch of events. The only one have in the pool right now is the guitar which
we just recorded and named. What you can do from here is a click and drag onto your time
line so you can reuse these events over and over again and organize them easily. Also
if you click the import button, you can import different audio files. I am going to click
on one you call beat. You can audition it down here in the bottom right so I am going
to go ahead cl9ick play so you can hear what each one of them sounds like before you import
them. I am going to go ahead and click open and copy file to working directory so that
it will make a copy of the file in the audio folder. I am going to go ahead and click okay.
There is a lot of different information you will see over here to the right. It will tell
you how many times you have used each event and it will tell you the tempo, the data type,
date created, all kinds of different things. You can also drag and drop files into the
pool directly from folders but whenever you want to use an event in your pool, just click
and drag right onto your time line and it appears right there for you to use.
