Good morning from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Fort Worth. A few changes
are finally in store for Northern and Central Texas.
The changes won’t necessarily be today, as we will see mostly sunny skies on Thursday,
along with an isolated shower or two. By Friday, the first in a series of cold fronts will come through and begin to drop temperatures.
We’re not talking about temperatures in the 50s, but at least temperatures will drop
to the lower 90s. Forecast model for Sunday shows an increase
of moisture for southern Texas. By Monday, some of that moisture will make
its way to Northern and Central Texas to produce a few showers or a few thunderstorms.
The forecast for the next seven days will show a low chance for rain and temperatures
falling.
To recap, temperatures will finally start to decrease, but only to the lower 90s.
