I work with a small group of women there are about seven of us, in just this year alone
we've been selling smoothies after school each Wednesday we published
a school cookbook, we sell gift cards, had a spellathon, write grants, beg for
donations from our parents, but still on a single iPad on campus of about 750 students!
You know, I was reaching out hoping maybe have
extra concert tickets, maybe we can
auction off a tour of the studio, something of that magnitude...
I think I even said, I know you can't us an iPad...
I'm Margaret Schmitz and I'm a parent at Highland Ranch Elementary School, and today
we are selling raffle tickets, and tickets to our third annual
gala and foundation
and what we're trying to do is raise money for our school
and our goal this year is to raise $15,000 so that we can purchase 36 computers
that will be shared by all the students at the school
iPads, preferably so that they can get
some information on on the new technology that's
out there
And how do I pay for them?
You can write me a check right now, or...
I don't have a check, but let's see, wait
what's in this bag, oh my gosh
an apple bag, which is very unusual
oh, wait a minute, how about a tshirt? from my favorite radio station? yes!
how about...? thank you! wow, wow, wow!
for those of you that don't know, KPRi is the best radio station!
these smoothies are really good
thank you for what you're doing thank YOU, this is awesome!
