Hi, I'm Jane and today I'm making a green smoothie from Jennifer. Hi Jennifer, how are
you doing? I've had this recipe for awhile and today's the day. Jennifer wrote in and
said, "Green smoothies just make my husband and I feel better. Less aches and pains, more
energy." I hear you, Jennifer. "I made up one of my own, which I think you will like."
The three strong flavors really compliment each other. 2 cups of apple juice, I made
this fresh, here's the link for how to make apple juice in the VitaMix, it's simple. 1/2
bunch of cilantro and a generous slice of ginger. Warming, inviting, cleansing ginger.
This is organic, I didn't even bother to peel it, I just put a nib right in there. Ginger
is strong and spicy so if you're not sure, start out with a little bit, you can always
add more. The texture of this is beautiful, it is like a juice. Somewhere between a juice
and a smoothie, so it's not really thick, I like that, it's refreshing. And if you're
concerned about the calories or the sugar content of the apple juice, dilute it, put
half apple juice and half water. Green smoothies will change your taste buds for the better.
It opens up your diet, it makes everything better. Even if you don't change your diet
