Hello, this is a short tutorial on how to insert and edit text in Comic Life.
When you first add a text element to a page, it automatically prepares itself for text editing, letting you immediately enter the text you desire.
To go back and edit the text again, simply double click on the words and the text editor will appear.
To finish editing simply click outside of the editor, or hit enter.
The return key lets you add multiple lines of text in balloons and captions
Now I will show you how to insert a text balloon.
Comic life not only allows you to place the tails end point where ever you want, it also allows you to bend the tails shape to better fit your layout.
To position the tails end point, position your mouse over the balloon. A blue circular handle should appear at the tip of the tail. Click and drag the blue handle to position the end of the tail.
To bend the tail click on the red handle to adjust the amount of curve in the tail; click the grey handles connected to the red center handle to put a kink in the tail.
And here's a quick tip, try to keep the tail away from the speakers face so that the tail is pointing to the source of the words, rather than touching it.
Thanks for watching!
