Hi. My name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to manually register a DLL
file in Windows Vista. Let's begin by clicking on the Start menu down at the bottom and right
above the Start button, in this area that says Start Search, lets type in CMD and press
Enter. This brings up the Windows Vista Command prompt. I have a couple of DLL files on the
route of my C drive, so I'm going to go to the route by typing CD, for change directory,
a space, and then a slash. If I do a DIR to do a directory listing, this lists out all
the files that I have on my C drive. The DLL that I want to register is this SQMAPY. DLL.
In order to register this DLL file, just type REGSVR32 and then a space, the name of your
DLL file and then a space, slash S, to register that DLL silently. That DLL has just been
registered. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just shown you how to manually register a
DLL file in Windows Vista.
