We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We
spend more, we have less. We have bigger houses and smaller families. We have more conveniences,
but less time. We have more degrees, but less common sense. We multiplied our possessions,
but reduced our values. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but we have trouble
crossing the street to meet our new neighbor. We tried to clean up the air, but polluted
the soul. We've split the atom, but not our prejudice.
These are the times when we strive for world peace, but domestic warfare is rampant. We
have more leisure and less fun. More kinds of food and less nutrition. These are the
days of two incomes, but more divorce. Something's wrong, isn't it? Something's missing.
So what are we going to do about it? Where do we go from here?
The world needs changing, and the truth is there's no group of people in a better position
to change it than Catholics. The story of Jesus Christ is the most powerful story in
history and has directly or indirectly influenced every normal aspect of modern civilization.
But amidst the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we have become distracted and have
distanced ourselves from our story. But the reality is that our culture loses
its soul. Which is why we need to re-energize the spirituality of the people of our time
and help them to re-discover the genius of Catholicism. Every single day, the Catholic
church feeds more people, houses more people, clothes more people, visits more imprisoned
people, takes care of more sick people and educates more people than any other institution
on the planet Earth could ever hope to. At Dynamic Catholic, we're passionate about
re-energizing the Catholic church in America, because we see the possibilities. We need
game-changes. We need to start thinking about this on a whole new level. We have been developing
a series of programs that we believe will be game-changers for the Catholic Church in
America. We hope you will join us in our mission. As I travel around the country, I meet people
like you, who want to see something wonderful happen, who are willing to get involved, to
do their own little bit. And I think that's a sign of great hope for our church.
I hope you will join us in our mission at Dynamic Catholic. Please pray for our work.
Think about becoming an ambassador. And remember, be bold, be Catholic!
