The next thing I'm going to use is the TCE trimmer. The time compression trimmer--this
thing basically let's you take something and stretch it out or shrink it. And you can do
this with all your data or midi data. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to highlight
some midi data with my smart tool. I'm going to highlight the data, and then switch my
tool--my trim tool--to the TCE. Once that's switched to the TCE, what I'm going to try
to do is I'm going to try to stretch it out and kind of trim it within the notes regions.
So what I'm going to do--maybe use the region, and kind of switch it right in half. So just
making sure that my track view is within regions, I'm able to take my midi data and now cut
up--and smush it to three fourths of the size. Sometimes when you do this, it might affect
it. It might not put it right on point, but what you can do is always undo it and you
can always redo it again. Sometimes when I want to do it maybe like that, it will be
more on point with it. So when I press silonol.
