: I want to thank to everyone the support and solidarity messages that people have given me the last days.
As I’ve said, I still am in Venezuela and I’ll keep on fighting for a better country.
Naturally, I’ve taken some days to think, share with my family and make the best decision in these moments.
As I confirmed, I’ll continue fighting in the streets with Venezuelan people. Naturally, I’ve taken some days to think, share with my family and make the best decision in these moments.
As I confirmed, I’ll continue fighting in the streets with Venezuelan people.
Furthermore, this Tuesday 18th, I want to make a call to walk together,
from Plaza Venezuela, where the last February 12th, a flame of hope woke up for a change in favor of all Venezuelans
and from there, go to the Ministry of Justice,
place which has become in a symbol of repressions, persecutions, tortures and lies.
Place to which we will deliver very concrete petitions;
first, to clarify the responsibility of the State in the homicides occurred the past February 12th
there you have photos, videos, undeniable probes of what happened that day;
second, to immediately set free those citizens, especially the young ones,
who have been hounded and who have been in prison and tortured;
third, to stop repression and persecution because the Venezuelan’s right to protest;
fourth, to unarm the paramilitary groups and collectives, who have been responsible of homicides, insecurity, whipping and intimidation of our people
under the support of the Venezuelan State
and finally, I’ll be there to face them, during the last couple of days it has been said that they -the government- want to see me in jail.
I’ll be there to face them, I don’t fear about anything, I haven’t commit any crime,
I’ve been a Venezuelan committed to our country, to our people, to our Constitution and to our future.
If there is any decision of illegally put me behind the bars, well, I’ll be there to assume that persecution and that despicable decision of the State.
I want to tell to everyone who wants to walk with me that that day we must be out in the street as we usually do,
PEACEFULLY; this time, I ask you to wear WHITE clothes meaning our commitment to peace.
I’ll invite you to walk to a certain point and from that moment on,
I’ll go by myself to deliver these petitions to the Ministry of Interior and Justice.
I don’t want to expose anyone’s life, integrity and security,
, but we together must face them right now.
Brother, sister, today more than ever, we must assume that the future is ours;
; that it is our responsibility to build in this obscure moment,
the window that might open the future to our children, to every Venezuelan.
We’re in the right side of the history.
We’re in the right side of justice. We’re in the right side of truth.
Strength and faith. See you on Tuesday.
