Hello.
How are you?
I'm ok, how are you?
I'm fine.
What really inspired you to do this job?
I see how the community are suffering due to poverty.
There's some kids that are sleeping without food.
Sometimes I have take food from my house and share it with them.
Through working with the councillor and CDW...
...I've seen that I can be involved helping them.
There were a lot of children that didn't attend school...
...staying at home with their parent, not attending creche.
It was difficult for the children to grow up in that situation.
Caring about the children, that is the important thing....
...making sure that the kids are getting food,
are getting clothes,
are attending school.
They get every basic need in life that they're supposed to get.
The family that we are visiting now get money from making shoes and selling them.
[speaking in local language]
I'm staying with my two boys,
the elder one, who was born in 1979, is staying with my relatives,
but the other two I stay with them.
One doesn't go to school because of depression...
...since he realized that I am *** positive.
He thought that I was going to die.
The older of the two helps, if I'm not feeling well...
...to prepare breakfast and everything for the one going to school.
It was sad for her to realise that the same child that has depression...
...has to wake up in the night, asking the mother how do you feel?
Are you hungry? Do you want water?
It was bad for her.
What really inspired you to do this project?
[local language]
I was sick, in order to relieve depression, I have to meet people.
The shoes that we're making, we agreed that we'd do it at SOS.
For now, we're knitting them at my house.
Thank you ma.
