Hello and Welcome to Paper Crafting With Angelina. I am Angelina Romero and I am so happy to
have you here today. I do invite you to subscribe to my channel, as well as LIKE any of my videos
that you do enjoy seeing. I try to do a variety of videos and to day what I am going to do,
I am going to share with you how I used alcohol markers to color these little bunnies. I really
enjoy using alcohol markers and those are like the Pro Markers, the Spectrum Noir, Copics
and then Close To My Heart has their alcohol markers. So let's head over to my workbench
and get started.
Now on a previous video I showed you how I cut these out. First I stamped them and then
I cut them out with my Brother ScanNCut. If you don't have one of those then you can just
easily fussy cut it. But to keep things simple for me I went ahead and cut that out. So I
am going to go ahead and color my little Easter Bunny.
These are the alcohol markers that I will be using. I am going to be using Sweet Leaf,
Sky, Buttercup, and Gypsy. These are all of the Close To My Heart Alcohol Markers. Then
I will be using the Copics. For the Copics I'll be using E00, E02 and E33. Those are
going to be used on the bunny. And I am also going to be using Blush, so I am going to
go get that.
1:44 Ok so I am going to start coloring the bunny and I am going to lay down the lightest
color which is E00. I did stamp the image with the Memento. As far as I am concerned
that is the best ink to use when you are going to be using alcohol markers. The others, in
my opinion, smear and while Memento does just a little bit it doesn't do, it doesn't smear
nearly as much as the others. So.. I am going to use the E33 to just darken that. And just
pull that color up a little. He is going to be a light bunny, not dark. Some more in here.
Bring in some more of this darker, just a little bit. I don't want to go too dark. And
then I will use the E02 to blend that down. Ok.
Just laying down the color. E02, blend that out.
E02 that was the E33. And then the E00.
E02 just to add a little bit of color to his little tummy. And under the egg, under the
arm. And blend that back out with the E00. Put a little here just to have some color.
Now I am going to take the E00 again right here because I want this nice and light, just
like his belly. And I am going to go ahead and lay the color on the face. And this will
help the other colors move around. Ok. Now I go back to the darkest, the E33 and just
down here where I want some good shading, put that in. With the E02 I am going to blend
that out. A little dark here too. Finish blending that
out with the E02. Come back in here just to move around some of these colors again. And
that is my bunny. For his ear and his nose, just going to use
the Blush. Now with these you want to make sure you really close them good so they don't
dry out. I am going to use the Alcohol Blending Marker, just to add, take a little color out
of there. Lighten it up just a little bit. And then I also want to just take some color
off of here. Ok. Now I feel like my bunny needs just a little
more color under his chin or right here at the bottom of his little mouth, or muzzle.
There we go. Just going to put that there. Ok. Ok now to color the egg.
7:59 And I am going to start with the lightest color. And we are going to use the Buttercup.
The Buttercup is going to go here in the middle. I just do more on the sides as you can see.
And that will meld really good together. One thing I did just notice that I did forget
was this little hand. Don't want to forget that. So just throw a little color in there.
I put the E33 in there. And then I am going to take..here it has the darker, so it's got
the Buttercup and then the darker shade that goes with the Buttercup. I am going to use
that just right here at the corners. That's it. And then I am going to use the original
color to blend that out. And that gives us some good definition on this egg, ok.
Next I am going to use the Sweet Leaf. And for me the light is coming from here so I
want to lay in more layers of the color there, on the opposite side of where the light source
would be. So I am going to put in just a hint of the darker Sweet Leaf. Actually I am going to do it with this end
so that I make sure that I have more control. And I am going to pull it out with this. There
we go. Next I am going to use the Sky. And with the
Sky you get your original color and then on this one you get a lighter version, versus
on the other two that I just showed you, it was a darker version. So this is the lighter,
so I am going to start with the lighter one on this one.
Ok, I am going to bring in the darker one just like I did with the Sweet Leaf, I am
going to bring in Sky where I think shadows would be. Just add a little bit of the darker
one and then pull it out and blend it with the lighter one.
11:50 There we go. I hope you like this. This is..I think it is darling. So the other thing
I am using here is this Wink of Stella and it's a brush but it puts on glitter. And this
one is the Clear, um. I get this from Simon Says Stamps. I really love this. And it just
adds just a bit of shimmer and I am going to put that just on here on the ribbon. On
the egg. So there we go. And that, come in tighter so you can see.
Oops, sorry. Okay there we go, I came in too tight didn't I? Ok there you go. So hopefully,
ah there you go, you can really see that shimmer. I just love to do that on my different elements
with the cards. I think it's very pretty. So um next what I am going to do is I am going
to add just, just like I have on here. I am going to add a few little colored rhinestones.
And the other thing I did is, I cut out some extra ones with my Brother ScanNCut. Um and
what I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and I want to make this more like a chipboard.
So I am going to be gluing or with the Liquid Glass, attaching him to two or three of these.
So I am going to go ahead and do that and then we will finish up this project.
13:39 Ok, one other thing, I want his ears to be curled, so while it is still wet and
not completely dry, I am going to go ahead and shape them. Uh and this just will add
for a little bit of different texture and characteristic. I just like it. So there you
go. I am going to let him dry like that. So I ran out of my Itty Bitty rhinestones
or sparkles so I am going to be using an old set. I have no idea were I got this. Micheal's
or Hobby Lobby and so anyway I am going to use these. So what I am going to do is, I
am going to put it at each peak, so one, two, three, four, five I need. I am going to cut
them here cuz they are in a strip. And then I will use my tweezers to get them off.
I do like these tweezers a lot um cuz they are self-closing, if I let go they close,
so they apply the pressure. And uh just open them like that. I really like these, these
are EKTools, I got this over at Micheal's or Hobby Lobby, I don't remember. At any rate,
there we go. That's little Mr. Bunny Rabbit. 15:11 Once again, thank you for stopping by.
