I called the head of the Bank of America into my office here in Washington.
I did it because I was so disturbed about how the Bank of America was treating
my people.
People in Nevada, people were having trouble with their homes, and no other bank treated Nevadans
the way Bank of America treated treated Nevadans, and i told them that. I said "Until you
start treating my people better, that I would go after your bank and you at every occasion I get."
He said give me some chance, give me some time to work things out,
and they've done
some good things.
We now have a hotline people can call in and they can be referred not to
some kind of a
recorder but to an actual person to try to help them with their problems
and we have a resource center the people who go to in henderson
within ten days we'll have one in Marino and
in Las Vegas.
So Bank of America's making progress, I'm very happy they are and I appreciate what they're
doing.
If you can't get through to your service or to your bank
when you're having trouble with your home
call my office.
Whether you're here in Reno,
Carson city or Las Vegas.
I have people who are working on these homes. Now are they a hundred percent successful
rearranging things, no,
but they've been successful lot of times, so don't hesitate to call.
