Love is your teacher. Love is your guide. Love is your power. Gotta open wide. That's
the Truth. Thank you for sharing that with us this morning. So! So, um, somehow this...what
are you doing? Alright, if my notes go askew I am going to take this talk off the top of
my head. But Ido have notes here...Just, everything crashed...for a moment. There we go! So, um,
so last week I talked about habit, and, uh, that the idea about life is that you have
to rehabitualize your life to create the good, and, um, so that's, that's, that's great and
well and good, right? Yes. Creating new habits that are in support of your highest good.
Well today my talk, "Don't Dream It, Be It!" Many peo-- well, some of you might recognize
that it is actually a reference to the 'Rocky Horror Picture Show" but what you don't know
about me is that I actually, when I was, when I was in high school I was very involved with,
like, the local cinema and I would go every week, and anyway it was a lot of fun, anyway.
That has nothing to do with this talk. Except that's a great message, don't dream it, be
IT, BE IT, IT, the one thing, the Thing Itself, God. That's what I take. So. When you're creating
your new habits do those, do those things in support of your highest good. Do it for
yourself for the deepest most Divine expression of yourself. That's all I'm asking you to
do. You don't have to please anybody else to do that. Simply live the best life you
can and that's what I'm here to teach, every single Sunday you'll hear me say basically
the same thing, "live the best life you can for you not for anybody else." And the reason
that that's important that you're not living for anybody else is that that is where self
power comes from: the deeper understanding that you are a perfect expression of the Divine
embodied right here and right now. That's the truth of who you are. So, every week I
will remind you of this Truth. Today, I gonna talk a little bit about translating this idea
of being the best of who you can be and expressing that to the world at large. It is the beginning
of the Season for Non Violence, we're honouring and celebrating the concept of peace, and
love, and that from that place as you honour and celebrate peace and love in your own life
that radiates from you to the whole world. And by radiating peace and love from yourself
to the world you effect other people to radiate peace and love from within themselves. And
as we continue to do this the entire world shifts and changes and becomes a better place
for every single one of us to live. But like I said before, it's an inside job and it starts
with you: the individual, because your words have power, your mind has power. What you
think, demonstrates based on your belief. So believe that this is a world of peace,
believe that this is a world of love, believe that this is a world of harmony. And simply
move forward through your life with those understandings, with those principles, So
to honour the Season for Non Violence, which really we honour a couple of people, uh, one
of them is Dr, Martin Luthor King we also honour Mahatma Ghandi. And so today I want
to start with, I know we've all heard this quote before, "You must be the change you
wish to see in the world." "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." But
here's the problem with that quote, I wrote, "great, but how?" "You must be the change
you wish to see in the world." You must BE something. How do you do that? I mean, really,
how do you do that? I mean we all desire a world free of disease, poverty, war, right?
We, I mean I, I think I can say for every single person in here that it would probably
be a nice thing if we had a world free of disease, right? A world free of poverty, right?
And a world free of war, right? Great. So if that's what you want, and you must be the
change you wish to see in the world, how do you do that? Be God! Absolutely. It starts
with you the individual. And how do you do that? Well first you must dream a world where
those things are exactly how your life expresses. You must dream these concepts first. You must
take these concepts from a place of deep belief and begin to embody these concepts. In this
world of your dreams you must see only the infinite abundance. Can you see only infinite
abundance around you? Yes? Working
in it? If you squint? I will tell you, I may not always comment, but I do
hear everything. The Truth
is
this a
world of infinite abundance. It
is everywhere around you, look, we're abundance with individual expressions of
God
right here in
this room.
