Forget expensive and unrepeatable field trials. Now Spirent brings the real world into the
lab with the GSS6400 GNSS Record Playback System.
Use the active GPS antenna supplied or connect another representative antenna of your choice
and you are ready to start gathering data. With one touch record, battery power, internal
hard drive and no external PC it couldn’t be easier to capture signals.
Because, sometimes testing using real world signals is the easiest way to confirm successful
operation in the presence of real world impairments.
The GSS6400 reduces your trials and travel costs substantially by allowing you to record
and playback real life GPS signals with 2-bit fidelity capturing real world fades, multipath
and interference. Then playback your data as often as you like,
wherever you like, eliminating the need to return to the field later in the project.
Sharing files is not a problem with the GSS6400. Import samples from colleagues around the
globe and carry out identical tests on a range of devices, all without leaving the lab.
The RF output can be directly connected to the unit under test or via a suitable TEMS
cell or screened enclosure for units with internal antenna
In addition to the front panel controls, the unit’s internal Linux PC can be operated
directly using a keyboard, monitor and mouse or for more flexibility, connect the GSS6400
to a network using Ethernet and use the built in webserver to access all the unit’s extensive
functionality. With unrivalled flexibility and ease of use,
the affordable GSS6400 is all that you would expect from Spirent, the leaders in GNSS test.
