Speaker 1: What is in My BAG?
Speaker 2: Whatever you're going to do I don't know.
Speaker 1: Jared Polin Froknowsphoto.com, the most requested video that I get asked
to make is "What is in My BAG"? You want to know what I carried around with me on my photo
shoots. Well here it is. Where should we start? Well where should be start? This side?
Speaker 2: Well I don't know --
Speaker 1: Alright.
Speaker 2: -- which side would be better?
Speaker 1: I'm going to start on this side.
Speaker 2: Okay.
Speaker 1: So let's just run down the list of lenses. This is the 16mm Fisheye-Nikkor
2.8. The we have the first of the Hebrew Trinity. 14 to 24.8 followed by the 24 to 70 Nikon
2.8. Then I have the 105 Macro VR very cool lens. This is a stand in camera. It's the
D3X standing in for the D3S which is recording these which has a 35 1.8 DX lens on it so
that's why you see a little bit of vignetting but you can see that that lens works on a
full frame body 51.4 AFD. I like this lens. I haven't seen a need to upgrade yet. The
85 1.4 waiting for the upgrade the AFS version is probably going to be sweet, but this is
one of the sweetest lenses ever 70 to 200 VR2 2.8 awesome Nikon lens and the 300 2.8
AFS version 1 so that's the lenses. Then I carry around now the D3000 which is for the
super secret project. I have my think tank pixel pocket rocket where I carry all the
different memory cards. Do you like memory cards well? Wonder how many memory cards it
would take to, to store those 99 years of memories right?
Speaker 2: Yes.
Speaker 1: SB-800 have an upgrade it to the 900 yet. Don't do as much flash, but that's
me. Hair picks, extra hair picks you can't leave home without them. And emergency yeah
I carry it around emergency because you never know when you need a boost or where the bride
needs a boost or if a bride passes out in the bathroom, but you heard, you heard something
*** against the door but you thought maybe she dropped something but she really passed
out then you give them an emergency. I carry it around my slide carrier to see the world
as if it's an image. We talked about this for composition. This is in my bag, extra
business cards Nikon GP-1. This is a GPS unit that plugs into the D3S or well anything that
has a 10-pin on the Nikon range and will embed your GPS location in it.
I carry it around my lanyard with all of my press passes from different shows because
you never know when you need to put this on. On here I have an LED flashlight. I have my
very good ear plugs. These are the high fidelity company Etymotic Research Inc. These are great.
I just ordered another pair of them. A compass that fell out from Nikon with a blinkie light
in case I get lost. Then I have my newest addition to the bag which is the BlackRapid
RS-7 with the BRAD attachment, love this thing, use it all the time now. And then an extra
FastenR from Think, from Think Tank from BlackRapid in case I need to attach it to a lens. What
else did I forget? Oh yeah my Swiss Army Knife which I'm going to remember not to fly with
just in case you need it the -- how is your hair?
This is the Giottos Rocket Air and then last oh wait, wait, wait we have an iPod charger.
You never know when you need a charger iPhone and then I always carry around the Think Tank
shower cap because you never know when you want to leave to throw up or get stuck in
the rain so that is what's in my bag. Jared Polin Froknowsphoto.com. Say hello.
Speaker 2: Bye-bye.
