SONYA TAYEH: I think the talent is unbelievable.
If this was the first show, I can't believe what's to come.
I really can't.
Honestly-- and I say this every year, but--
they're such a strong group.
And they really do what they do very well.
And they assimilate really well.
So I'm just so thrilled.
And for the guys, I mean, come on, it's like a wolf pack
being released to the masses.
It was so amazing.
I love the strength of men.
And just having them together, sweating and fighting with
each other in a positive way and breathing with each other,
I couldn't have asked for a more amazing night.
CYRUS SPENCER: Our Top 10 boys was with Sonya.
I love her so much.
She wants men to dance like superheros and women
to dance like men.
And I can see why.
It makes everything more powerful.
It makes you stand out from everybody else.
It's great.
GEORGE LAWRENCE II: Sonya Tayeh--
my favorite.
She's actually my favorite choreographer.
TIFFANY MAHER: He killed that number.
He killed that number.
GEORGE LAWRENCE II: I love it.
I love it.
It's amazing.
WILL THOMAS: Oh, gosh, I had to take my shirt off in front
of America.
I jiggle.
It was a little embarrassing.
I'm not going to lie, you know what.
And then, of course, Nigel calls me out.
It's fine.
I just put my hand in the camera.
Fine.
DAREIAN KUJAWA: All the different styles.
You have to learn how to do Stacey Tookey, and then you'll
have to go into Sonya's and be a beast.
It's crazy trying to blend in to all those different styles.
MELANIE MOORE: I was one of Stacey Tookey's assistants, so
that was amazing.
I got to be in the same room as I was in when I started
last year, just on the other side.
So it's been kind of a crazy journey, but it's been
absolutely amazing.
STACEY TOOKEY: They just nailed it.
I couldn't have been more pleased with their
performance.
And I was squeezing Melanie's arm.
I'm like, oh, please!
Please!
And she was like, this is more nerve-wracking being on this
side of it than on that side of it.
I know, because you see the choreographers freaking out.
But every dancer on that stage tonight--
unbelievable.
I mean, they blew my mind.
MATTHEW KAZMIERCZAK: Crazy different mix of
choreographers.
AUDREY CASE: Yeah, Travis is so soft and flowy, and
everything has this meaning to it--
I mean, everything does.
But Sonya's was so--
she pushes you so much.
And I'm sure you know that too.
MATTHEW KAZMIERCZAK: Yeah.
It was awesome.
Everything was so different.
It was a good mix.
CHRIS SCOTT: I had my friend make the music, Nathan Lanier.
A friend of mine did the voice over.
So I was putting together all this stuff behind the scenes.
I came to rehearsal with the routine made up for them but
knowing I was going to have to adjust for them.
And we knocked a whole routine out in five hours.
I put the whole routine on them.
It was crazy.
I wouldn't have put them up on stage doing it, but I think I
knew at that point, we have something really special.
COLE HORIBE: So Christopher Scott, melding the styles, it
was so interesting to me.
I loved the concept immediately before we even
started learning it.
BRANDON MITCHELL: Chris Scott can take different elements
like that and just create a masterpiece.
That's what he does.
That's what he's amazing at.
And even in rehearsals, watching him put the stuff
together, it was just like, yo, are you serious?
And it was so great.
It was so refreshing the way that he was working with us.
He made us all feel comfortable.
And then he brought all of our genres out.
And we was able to show our strengths.
CYRUS SPENCER: Oh my goodness, working with Chris is the
best, honestly, because he works with you.
And he still allows you to grow, and he allows you to
reach another peak you haven't reached.
It's just great.
His creativity, he likes to add his with yours and with
everybody, so the whole aura in the room is just amazing.
It's just really great.
DWIGHT RHODEN: They are actually very versatile.
We're going to see other things from them.
They can do other styles.
Their strength is ballet, but I'm even more interested to
see what they do outside of ballet.
ELIANA GIRARD: I had to work with Desmond and Dwight--
a complete honor.
I look up to them.
I watch them all the time.
I'm a huge fan.
And they bring stuff out of you that you never knew was in
there, and that's what we want.
We want to be pushed to the limit.
DANIEL BAKER: Working with all the choreographers here, for
me, has just opened my eyes.
I've been craving this for so long.
I can't really explain it.
It's just been so inspiring in a different way for me, and
I'm very grateful.
And every day, I am keeping my eyes open, my ears open, and
just enjoying the ride.
ALEXA ANDERSON: I'm Alexa.
DANIEL BAKER: I'm Daniel.
ALEXA ANDERSON: And you're watching DanceOn.
