This is the Direct Connect Office at the University of Montana
the home of Student Affairs IT.
Here you can find the Resident Technology Assistants or RTAs who provide technical support to students and Student Affairs depardments
Students can come into the office between 1-4pm to get help over the counter or call between 8am-5pm for help over the phone
. For problems that take more time, like hardware repair, virus removal or computer reformats
Students can check in their computers at a reasonable cost affordable, even on a student’s budget
The Direct Connect Office is located in the basement of Elrod Hall
In room 014 on the South side of campus
There is also an RTA living in each of the residence halls and at Lewis and Clark Village
who are available to help residents with trouble shooting computers, tvs and other devices in their rooms free of charge.
Students can schedule an appointment with an RTA at umt.edu/dco
going to “Sign up for help” and selecting their RTA and selecting a time
Students can also download free anti-virus as well as a full list of products and services
