What is the cheapest fast food restaurant?
McDonalds often gets the rap for being cheap, but you have to admit, they are cheap.
I noticed their dollar menu getting smaller, and a few things staying on the menu but hitting
$1.20.
If you like a restaurant, try the value menu. Or the kids’ menu.
The portions are small.
Think of it as staying within your budget and your diet.
I’ve heard that Taco Bell is cheap.
They have nachos and tacos for less than a dollar.
And who eats just one taco?
And then there’s the fact that meat was mostly beans and filler. Wendy’s offers
a baked potato, small ice cream flavored drink or handful of chicken nuggets for less than
a dollar.
It could be worse. There was a shepherd’s pie in Iceland that had no meat in it.
An unknown vegan substitution is no worse than the horse meat in Aldi’s discount meals.
What do you think about Burger King?
Their value meals aren’t as good a deal as McDonalds, but they have pretzels and deserts
under a dollar.
Arby’s used to have a value menu.
They turned it into a snack and save menu, admitting that they can’t offer a meal for
a dollar but can give you as many bites as you have quarters.
I wish there were more cheap, fast food options.
Two bananas, four carrots, several apples.
What is that list?
Those are fresh fruits and veggies you can buy for less than a dollar. Or you can get
the full meal deal for a few bucks.
What do you consider a full meal deal?
A loaf of no name bread for a dollar, small jar of PB for a buck and a half, cheap jelly
for another dollar, and you have sandwiches for the next three meals for less than four
dollars.
I can get ten pounds of rice and beans for that.
You asked for cheap and fast. If you want fast food, that means portions you’ll inhale
instead of eat.
