So we are going to cut around our core just like we would with an apple and you can go
ahead and skin this ahead of time if you want to but I like the flavor of skin so I leave
that on. So even though we are going to roast this I am going to slice these pears just
a little bit thin so they will cook up just that much faster and I am also going to try
to cut just as close as I can to the same width with each piece so that they'll cook
in a more uniform way. Alright after we have cut this up I am going to go ahead and separate
them and it is alright if they break into pieces like this because after we are done
roasting we are going to put them in a blender and mix them up. So I'm going to dump them
in here with our butter and then we are just going to squeeze some honey over the top and
we'll add some lemon juice and just a little bit of salt and pepper.
