I have a few tips I like to share with my home buyers.
Whenever we have a new transaction with a customer we share what we call
the do's and don'ts
and the "Do"s are things like
keep your pay stubs,
make sure that you keep track of all of your paperwork.
When you're packing your house
keep track of the boxes that you keep all of your financials in so that when
you're packing you know where those are in case you need to access them when you
are getting your loan approved.
Keep your job.
Things like that so there are lots of "Do"s and there are some simple
"Don'ts" as well.
Things that you and I might take for granted or just expect
we understand, yet sometimes the home buyers don't, and that would be for example-
don't change a job in the middle the process. Don't quit your job.
Don't get rid of your paperwork don't shred your paperwork. A lot of people like to
shred things and get rid of financial paperwork, don't shred those things.
Don't shred pay stubs you've gotta keep all that stuff in the process of
We maintain a list of do's and don'ts and we share that with each customer.
