To finish with, let's test Photoshop CS4, as I've been asked to many times.
Here is a big image of a very pretty Airbus A380.
I'm going to paste it in a new Photoshop document with a 300 dpi resolution.
Done, let's see what we have once in 100%,
and we'll see that there's a graphic acceleration offered by the GMA 3150.
What do we have practically? The result is quite amazing ge such a processor.
We can move on the quite big picture without problem.
Of course, it's not as if we had a specialized card,
but for such a device, we don't have any problem of display,
we can resize it and manipulate it without problem.
So we are really able to do amazing stuffs.
Obviously, all the filters will be a bit slow.
If I make a quite important radial blur, it will be calculated rather quickly
considering the size of the image and the integrated processor.
It works quite well for a netbook.
Let's see another program now: ArtRage. We've already presented it.
It's the version 3, with some improvements.
Among its tools, there's one which enables to stretch again the line you've just drawn.
It's generally something quite long to be calculated on a program, and it works very nicely here.
Of course, the other tools can also be used, there's not much latency.
But with other tools mixing colors, it's more delicate, you have to proceed by little touches.
That's with the Atom N450. We can imagine what will happen with a 1.83-GHz Atom N470.
It shouldn't be much different.
There's a very good combination of performance and autonomy
with this new-generation Atom processor.
