build and equipped according to the latest international regulations that has more than 15000 cubic meters of storage space

when they implemented a new WMS solution for all the warehouses.

The new plat, an investment of 40 million euro, has warehouses that were equipped with sophisticated storage shelves
for which we needed professional know-how of logistics management.
We spent a long time looking for the right WMS supplier that could provide us that.
The way the finished goods warehouse was designed by the building contractor made it difficult for us to deliver all the sales.
We could choose from 3 or 4 WMS suppliers but in the end we chose RBC Logistic Solutions
because they offered more than software and hardware equipment. They came with a complete solution of how to organize the warehouse,
complex storage and retrieval algorithms, picking strategies and consultancy in implementation, with immediate result in the business.
In the new warehouse,
even if it was entirely new built,
and the employees had few experience,

just in time to move all the activity from the old plant.

for all the problems that popped-up during the process.
In Scandia Food, the new warehouses are managed 100% by the WMS.
From receiving of raw materials were WMS is connected to industrial high-precision scales,
delivery to production, receiving from production, picking, delivery to customers, management of auxiliary materials
inventory management and other internal operations, they are all done by using barcode readers,
the mobile computers being synchronized by WiFi with the WMS server and also the ERP system.
The entire warehouse chain is today managed by the WMS provided by RBC Logistic Solutions.
The system works in real-time, which allows the users, but also the managers, to take fast decisions.
The reporting system provides managers with accurate data which enables on spot decision making, being thus very efficient.
We can say that from the start we had no issues with the WMS; it coped successfully with all the needs of our company.
