Hello friends. Time is money. Did you know that the average person has 45-minutes
of waiting time a day? Waiting for the train to arrive, waiting for your food to be served
in a restaurant, waiting in the clinic, waiting, waiting, waiting. Yet, the average person
isn't quite able to convert that waiting time into money. Well, good news my friend, today,
after this demo, we will not be average people anymore, because we will be able to pay not
just by money, but we will be able to pay using waiting time. That's right, we will
be able to pay using waiting time. Essentially, it is a new form of payment. Well, many businesses
are willing to pay for people's time for their opinions, and on the other hand, many people
have time to sell. We put them together, and that's Sageby. Now let'*** the demo. Bryan,
my fellow co founder, walks into a cafe. Now let s take Makeshake for example, they are
our partner merchant. While waiting for his friends to arrive, he sees the Sageby sticker
with the phrase 'Pay using waiting time'. Let's assume he doesn't know anything about Sageby
Curious, he flips out his mobile device or iPad in this case, and keys in "sage.by"
in the browser. He will be brought to this landing page where it prompts for his Facebook
login. Once he's in, he will see his personalized dashboard. As you can see on the far left,
it shows his available credits on the far left, it's currently zero. Sageby pays for
your waiting time in two ways firstly through surveys, and secondly through social shares.
Click on "surveys", you'll see a list of relevant surveys based on your demographic profile
extracted from Facebook. Other than doing the targeting done at our backend, we also
filter surveys based on your current location. As we are at the matrix now, we will see the
DEMO Asia survey. Let s click on the DEMO Asia survey. It promises a reward of $2. It
is a short survey of 5 questions in length. Bryan will now run through it briefly. For
demonstration sake, we have reduced the questions to 1. So while waiting, for now and in future,
think of Sageby. So anyways, after completing the survey, Bryan earns $2 credits, as you
would have seen on the left. He earns $2 credits. So with that, Bryan proceeds to redeeming
his milkshake. The redemption process is simple - click on the 'redemption' tab, and as Bryan
is still in the cafe, let s select "Dine4Free", which is one of the 4 channels of redemption
which we offer. Once in, you'll see a list of merchants. Select Makeshake, and $2 voucher,
and click on choose . Within the next few seconds, you will see a QR code. This is a
unique, one-use QR code. All Bryan has to do is to flash this QR code to the merchant
and he will enjoy $2 off his bill instantly. Bryan will now run to Makeshake to do an actual
redemption for us to see. Bryan, you ready to go? Run fast. Alright, let s watch the
actual redemption. Alright, so right now I am at Makeshake, so all I have to do is to
show this to the merchant. This is awesome, so I just paid using my waiting time. Alright
thank you Bryan, can u come back now? I need u on the demo. He used his mobile phone because
his iPad is here. Let's take it a step further. After drinking the milkshake, Bryan realizes
he really likes what he just had, and is thinking about sharing it with his friends. Now typically,
about 2 out of 10 people spread the word about something they like after they have experienced
it. But, if there is an added incentive, the number triples. Click on "tasks, social shares"
- you will now see "Promoting Makeshake to your friends" as a new task, triggered by
Bryan's location. Select it, and input what you like about Makeshake. For instance, Bryan
would say, 'I like the Supernana flavor'. Click on post, and you will earn more credits
after it s been approved. Other types of social shares, as you can see over here, includes
liking and sharing a page, as well as tweeting about a product or brand. Now we all know
word-of-mouth is the best form of marketing. Here at Sageby, we are able to propagate accurate,
first handed experiences using social media. And if you are a business and you want to
reach people regardless of where they are, to get their opinions or to leverage on their
social circles, then Sageby is the platform for you. And for the rest of us, Sageby pays
for your waiting time. People are already using smart phones on cabs, buses, trains,
etc, and that is why we have applied the model to allow users to use waiting time to pay
for cabs rides, shopping, and dining. So now, being extraordinary people, when making purchases
in future, check if you can pay with Sageby, and be sure to pay using waiting time. My
name is George Chen, co-founder of Sageby, and you can find us at booth 24, level 2.
With that, I invite you to start paying for things using your waiting time. Thank you.
