bjbj At the beginning of the wellness program, I weighed 206.8 pounds and now I weigh 138.4.
My health was not as good as it is today before the wellness program. I was tired and couldn
t participate in activities with the children. I would participate in some, but not fully.
If we would run, I would stop halfway and say you guys go on and I will catch up, so
it is very different than it is today. I had several goals to work on from the wellness
program, not only stress reduction, but putting my life back on track in every aspect whether
that be spiritual, parental, physical and being a good employee. And not just being
an employee but being better than an employee. So in order to do that you have to have the
whole package and the whole person and so there are a bunch of different areas that
have to get worked on. There were 3 highlights from the wellness program that helped me achieve
my success. One was the blood work and lab testing that was done initially. The 2nd thing
was the emails, the action plan which I was put on for stress reduction. And the most
important thing, actually, the catalyst for the whole thing was the wellness coach and
the calls and she was marvelous. The wellness coach helped me in several ways. She calls
me and the first thing she taught me was to add a protein to my breakfast so I would last
longer throughout the day. I had no idea that it was protein not carbs that were helping
to sustain me throughout the day. Then she helped tailor my workout so that as workouts
got boring or tiring, or showed me different areas to do things that I was already doing
but make them more beneficial. I was swimming laps. She sent me more information on how
to change my laps so that they would be more beneficial in different areas that I wanted
to work on. And finally she is the reason I am taking a multivitamin everyday. And she
is also the reason that if I don t get in me oils every day, I take an oil supplement,
so that I don t feel like I need to eat more in order to get in that oil. It s just amazing
and I think what isn t on a check box is knowing she is going to call every two, three, or
however many weeks we set up and knowing that I had gone this far since we last talked and
knowing that there was always something she had to offer. As a matter of fact, this afternoon,
she calls me today and I have made goal and I am so excited for her to call. [Content_Types].xml
