It's been really hard traveling all this distance coming all this way
that's the road to my grandson's school and Silly Goose has had
very hard time getting used to being in strange
country but we knew we had to come to help my daughter with her twins
and Silly Goose has some things to share with you now because
she's gotten better at this. Now that Valerie
is home, I can, I can share some
memories with you. I wanted to start with the time
when I was so sad. Oh, you were very sad
at the start. Yes, I... What's wrong? I'm, I...I'm Oh! What's the mat..Oh..
I, I...I...I'm so mad at you!
Oh? Why are you mad at me? Because, because I'm sad, and you brought me all
the way to Brussels, and I can't speak French
And I don't know anybody, and I don't have any friends. Oh...oh...
You were so sad. Yes, I was and
angry. And then what happened? Well, I learned to speak
a little French and I felt much better, and, and
can you show them the day I was feeling good outside
the store, and we went and saw my friends?
Sure we can do that. Oh! Hello, hello, hello!
I have learned so much here, here in
Belgium. I have new friends and I love my store
Do you see my store? I like it alot. I have changed
since I've been here. You have changed! Can, can we meet some of
my favorite friends and favorite places? Yes, we can...
Oh! Look! He's going to do something nice. Oooh, look he
He likes you. He likes me!
Well maybe.. Oh, Oh! Look I'm here with my friend Daphne.
Hi, Silly Goose!
Hello. I met her here in Belgium
and she's my goo friend. Will you sing a song with
me? Ah, let's see, aaah..
do like crocodiles? No,they eat geese. Well,
this is a funny crocodile song Oh, okay, that'll be good. Okay.
Un crocodile, s'en allant à la guerre
Disait au revoir à ses petits enfants
Trainant ses pieds, ses pieds dans la poussière
Il s'en allait combattre les éléphants
Ah! Ah! Ah!
Allez croco, allez croco, allez crocodiles,
Sur les bords du Nil, ils sont partis n'en parlons plus
Allez croco, allez croco, allez crocodiles,
Sur les bords du Nil, ils sont partis n'en parlons plus
Aw, did you...Regardes les bon bons! What
did you say? Look at all the yummy things. This
is one of my favorite stores. Look, look, look, look, look, candy and
and, and delicious bread. And, oh! Look at the buns.
I love this place and there's
the nice man and lady who help me. See them? There they are. There she is. Look! My new friends!
I, I love Belgian
waffles, buns, beignets
and n'importe quoi, I love it. See you later.
So you see I was very afraid
of moving. But I found out that, that it
was okay and that I could trust you. Yes, and I can
trust God. I could trust you
to take care of me... and
to help me be happy...and
to learn new things, and coming to Belgium has been
very, very good. I'm so glad and
you got to meet my new grandchildren. Kane and Wilder.
And my daughter. Yes, and, and Kate, I love Kate.
And Kate says, "Hello" to Sara. Hey RevShiz
Kate misses you. Oh, oh, and I
miss you to. Be home soon I hope! Mwah!
