Have you experienced any Goodman furnace problems since you got it?
Yes I have, why?
Well mine has gotten cold (not as in someone knocked it cold, like you did to me last week
for touching your cupcake) and my kids are freezing.
Sorry for that, it's just how I am.
Anyway, let me tell you about my Goodman furnace problems.
Please do. It seems that they have some common issues that users can run into.
First off, I turn on the heat from the thermostat, which clicks and when the unit is on, it starts
making a humming sound. The indicator light also blinks 3 times.
That is a pressure switch failure you're dealing with, so you should check for vent blockage,
pressure switch and the venter.
I actually tried moving the fan blades using a screw driver, but I cannot access them.
I think that you should remove the power venter, open it up, and then clean it properly. Next,
check the metal exhaust pipe to see if there are any birds there or something else stopping
it from working.
Alright.
You can use a stick or something similar if it's clear to clean it.
I never thought of that. In fact, I heard one of my neighbors having the same issue
and solving it this way.
Well then, it seems that you have a fan that got stuck. Sometimes it can be stuck pretty
hard, so you might have to apply some pressure to make it spin again.
It seems that I won't need to call a professional to check things out for me. This will save
me at least $200, so how about we go out later to get something to eat?
Sounds like a lot of fun.
Okay then, thanks a lot for your help, and I'll let you know when I fix my furnace.
