Hey guys, what's up? I'm Sam from Computer TV, and today I'm going to tell you about
the Sony VAIO VGN-NR260E edition. Now, if you are a student, this is a fantastic value.
Ok, listen we're all trying to save money these days, we're all on budgets.
This is great for all of your basic needs. You got to write a paper, you want to download some music,
we can do that. It's great. Alright, so this thing runs on a 1.6 gigahertz Intel Pentium Dual Core
Processor, so you got that speed going on. You got 2 'gigs' of DDR2 RAM,
200 'gigs' SATA hard drive, runs Vista Home Premium, 802.11 'b' and 'g' wireless.
Now, if you look at the screen, this is a 15.4 inch screen.
It's glossy, looks really nice. Great for watching movies, surfing the web,
whatever you need to do, and has an XBrite Eco LCD screen. So it conserves your battery.
And it... The great thing about this computer is that it has a 5 hour battery life.
I mean thats fantastic. You don't have to be plugged in all the time.
Now, if you look down below, you'll see right here we have a power button,
here is your AV Mode button. Now, basically this is a one-touch button,
that brings up all your multimedia. Your music, your movies, without draining your battery.
And then this S1 button right here, this is a button that you can program.
So let's say you always need to turn the mute on, your volume, you can program that button to do so.
Now you have this black matte finish keyboard, and it's really great to type on.
Great for writing papers. Eww, not so much. And then you have this,
keypad right here.. I mean this mousepad right here you got your left click and your right click
Alright so we're going to move on to the side, you have your Express slot,
you have 2 USB 2.0 ports, you have your Firewire, great if you have a lot of home movies,
you want to connect your camcorder. Headset jack, mic jack and your VGA port,
to hook up to an external monitor. On the other side,
you'll see we have 2 more USB 2.0 ports. We have a DVD burner and player right here,
And at the end you'll see, you have your Kensington lock.
Alright, if you look on the front, you'll see you have your card readers.
This is for you Memory Stick, your Memory Stick Pro and your SD cards, so you can load up
all your photos from your digital camera. And on the back you'll see you have Ethernet
and your modem. Ok? To get online, not a problem at all.
Alright, so, this whole thing weighs about 6 pounds, it's not too heavy,
you can stick it in your backpack, in your purse, actually, it's a little big for your purse,
I take that back. But backpack! So students, listen this is a great buy.
