If you're struggling with weight loss and questioning 'can I lose weight'
,today, I'm gonna share with you the number one mistake that my clients make that hold
them back from weight loss, that you're probably been doing. So stay tuned. can I lose weight
Hey there. It's Nichole Kellerman -- founder and creator of Wildly Alive Weight Loss; where
I'll help you stop dieting, re-frame your mind so you can reshape your body.
So here we are. A few weeks into the New Year. How our weight loss resolutions coming? Probably
as not as quickly as you'd like. Right? And you're probably asking yourself, "Can I
lose weight?" And let me be the first to tell you. Yes, you can! But you are probably making
this huge mistake that majority of my clients make. Are you ready?
It's stepping on the scale. Now, I know you've been conditioned to believe
that the scale actually helps you lose weight. But it doesn't. It actually holds you back. can I lose weight
If you have stepped on the scale and you have some sort of emotional reaction to it, like
you're very, very excited. Or most of the time you've get really upset and depressed
and down on yourself. Then listen up. I have news for you. The scale is holding you back
from losing weight. You can absolutely, mentally hold on to weight. Right?
So if you stepped on that scale and you feel like crap because all you've been lost is
a few pounds or maybe you have lose a weight and maybe you've been even gained weight -- what
do you do? You self-sabotage. You run to the kitchen. You eat the chips
and the ice cream. And you know what? You say, "Screw it! Who cares?" And you might
stay for that a few days or maybe a few weeks. Do you see the scale is not working on your
favor? And making you question can I lose weight?
So I understand that the thought of breaking up with your scale can be a little nervous.
I know my clients have told that they're worried, they're gonna wake up one day and they're
gonna weigh 20 pounds heavier but that's a total excuse.
You know if you're losing or gaining weight by how you're feeling in your clothes.
So in my program, Wildly Alive Weight Loss, I take my clients to these exercises where
we basically break up with the scale. But for now, here's what I want you to do. I want
you to slowly break up with your scale. So if you weigh yourself every day, I want you
to go down with every other day. If you weigh down yourself with every week, I want you
to go down with every other week. And so on and so forth until you don't need the need
the scale at all. I am asking you, please, please, please, stop
giving that scale so much power. You are putting all your self-esteem into that scale. You
were saying, "If that number is not what you want it, I am a bad person." And that is not
just the case. You are amazing. You are not that stupid number says. So please break up
with your scale. I am begging you. Okay. So there is your awakening activity,
a.k.a 'homework.' Now in the comment section below, I want to
hear from you, how many times are you gonna commit to weighing yourself if at all? Remember,
it is smaller than you are doing now and if you are committing to completely ditching
it, awesome, I love it. Alright. Thanks again for watching. And remember,
if you're not having fun, it's your own damn fault.
Okay. See you next week. Bye. can I lose weight
