I established the nursery in 1986. It was very small.
In 1993 I put in more effort to develop it.
Women started bringing their children to me.
It was very successful, it was the first nursery in Asia Shamaleh.
The thing that affected me most about Bushra was that she had a daughter who died, Kamleh.
She was her only daughter among her four children.
Her daughter was married and had a four-month-old baby boy and a twelve-month-old daughter.
My daughter was killed. After she died I closed the nursery for about six years.
My daughter's children grew up and my husband and son became ill.
After my son became ill, I had to start working especially because of him.
Our loans are for developing a business.
The programme helps to change attitudes to women as it helps them earn an income.
It's not just men who get a say anymore. Women now also have a say.
I have 17 children in the nursery.
I enjoy taking care of children because I love them and have the patience for them.
What is special about my nursery is that it is open 24 hours a day.
I even open it on Fridays for women who want to go to the doctor or hairdresser - or anywhere else.
And so my nursery is still running.
Parents are very happy with the services.
I have a surveillance camera so parents can see what their children are doing.
I have a modern nursery.
I was very happy with this programme. I feel as if I own the world.
When I take the loan I feel like I own the world.
I feel like I have accomplished something.
This is independence for women.
There is nothing better than a woman who is able to spend her own money to buy what she needs.
I advise all women to be independent.
As I can see from our visits to the villages, women pass on information to other women.
We hope to reach as many women as possible to give them loans so that they can develop businesses and help their husband to provide income for the family.
