>>>Mia Curtis: Breast cancer affects our sex lives because we do not feel sexy when our
*** are cut off or when we have had a lumpectomy and they are scarred and distorted.
My suggestion is that everyone take time with their partner to seek some professional help
individually and as a couple, and because each story is so different, it is very hard
for us to put a discussion on the table and get into details and that is why everybody
scared skirts around the subject. We are trying to change that and bring sex to the table
after breast cancer and yes you can have a great sex life after breast cancer, but it
is not a role that you are going to do by yourself, you have to have and seek professional
help.
