OK, Disco Laser Player.
"Disco laser player is a kinds of new fashion multimedia player with music and laser function.
When you enjoy the music, you can also view the fantastic starlit night".
"All this wonder and beauty of the night sky happen in your room"!
What more could you ask for?
Yes, this is a player, for all those disco lasers you've got knocking around the house.
As you can see, it forms cool light shows on the ceiling, whilst playing music.
And apparently calculating Pi, that's slightly bizarre.
And this sepia toned cardboard cutout couple are really entranced by it.
Nothing else really on the box.
Other than the obviously fact that it doesn't actually show anything from the night sky,
but just shows pretty display.
Don't quite know what's happened in the translation there.
But hey, who cares?
Let's see what's in the box.
Answer: The device, that looks like a space-frisbee or something.
And had a very prominent warning for class 3A lasers.
If it can burn your retina out, it's fun!
Remember kids.
Also in the box, you've got a couple of raw plugs, for fixing it to the wall, and an adaptor
for another country and doesn't do anything, and a USB lead, and a remote control, and
a user manual.
But it is very easy to use.
Because yes, this is quite literally, just an MP3 player, with a big pair of speakers
attached, and a laser light thing for showing pretties on the ceiling.
Now, the laser show itself is very pretty indeed.
Which I will show you in a moment.
However, there are some downsides.
And the Downsides are: Number 1.
The speakers are terrible. Really bad.
If you put them anything over about two thirds power, which is still fairly quiet, it just
becomes a horrible distorted mess.
Very disappointing.
The second this is that the laser light display doesn't actually seem to go in time with the
music, or be controlled by the beat of the music at all.
Which is very disappointing.
Shame.
But on the plus side, that does mean you can use something else to actually play the music,
and you don't have to suffer these speakers.
So hey, swings and roundabouts.
It's got a few controls.
They will be for the music, obviously.
That just turns the laser on and off.
And that controls the speed of the laser light show, but as with many things of this type,
you either have it on the default, or it looks a bit silly.
So, who wants to see a laser light display then?
I hope you do, because that's how we're ending this video.
And whilst that's happening, I'll remember to stick links for all these products in the
description below to stop me getting hundreds of emails.
Off we go.
