We've visited the Intel booth -- there is Vaio Duo 11 and Toshiba U920t.
The emphasis was laid on transformers. Expecting Windows 8 announce, this is what Sony showed --
ultrabook -- transformer called Vaio Duo 11 (11-inch display). The mechanism works fast,
on the one hand, it's convenient and easy to use, but on the other hand, it's unknown how long it will work.
It doesn't look reliable, though I'm not an engineer and didn't test it.
There is a trail from motherboard to display inside, I can touch it. The device is light, it weights about 1200 g.
There are two USB 3.0, HDMI, power button, charging slot, network port, VGA port,
double slot for SD and memory stick (which is quite unusual for Vaio ultrabooks) and headphone jack.
New Intel processor, Windows 8. There is no touch-pad, only track point.
Chiclet keyboard. Nice device.
There is a special grip hook to open the display. Vaio Duo 11 ultrabook -- transformer with keyboard lightning. I don't know how much it will cost.
