Hello YouTube, today I am going to show you how to get custom thumbnails on your YouTube video.
First, you want to make sure your account isn't already enabled for custom thumbnails.
To do this, you go to any of your videos.
You press edit.
At the bottom of the thumbnail selection thing, you'll see a custom thumbnail button.
You can press that and choose a picture to use as your thumbnail.
But, if you don't have that button, you can use the other method.
So, you go into your video editor.
And then let's say you have your video. It's all done.
Hmmmmm
Okay, so once you have finished editing your video all the way, and it is completely done...
...now you want to make your thumbnail photo of course.
So then after you make the photo (like here I have it labeled thumb) you drag it onto the end of the video.
...and extend it for about half of the video, or like 3/4.
It might take a while to get the right length.
Then, for the third choice, it should be the picture that you placed right here.
So it might seem kind of cheap, but actually you can put links to related videos...
...a subscribe button, and other stuff like that.
Thanks for watching my video on how to get custom thumbnails on YouTube.
