Avoka Transact is an enterprise class platform,
designed to meet the needs of larger and more sophisticated organizations.
In order to understand what this means,
lets look at several of the modules within Avoka Transact,
and drill into just some of the features you
should expect from an enterprise class platform.
Many of the other videos on our site contain more details on specific areas,
so please explore these after this short introduction.
Composer is the electronic forms authoring environment within Avoka Transact.
It allows you to build very sophisticated forms, very simply.
For example, larger organizations will often have a pre-existing style guide
for your web site and electronic forms.
Composer allows you to encapsulate this style guide
into a re-usable template and style sheets,
which means that every form you build always looks and works perfectly.
Transaction Manager is where you deploy and manage your forms,
and make them available to your users.
Some of the enterprise class features of Transaction Manager include
flow configuration,
form versioning,
security,
transaction management,
attachment and payment services,
dashboards and analytics,
integration into backend systems,
and much more.
You can integrate into your backend systems in a variety of ways,
including email delivery, scripting, coding,
process invocations, or using an enterprise service bus.
You can integrate directly, or use the Integration Agent
which can deliver form data behind corporate firewalls.
We can either provide a fully functional self- service portal
that can be customized to your requirements,
or we can integrate any of the portal features into your existing web site or content management system
using the Web Plugin module.
Some examples of portal features include:
authenticated or unauthenticated access,
including self-registration and password recovery;
several different styles of form finders, including simple search and more wizard- based finders;
save and return for both authenticated and unauthenticated users,
with appropriate security challenges; t
o-do lists for partially completed or newly allocated transactions,
and a full history of all submissions to reduce calls to your call center.
Finally, we have the Mobile Field Worker, which is an app that runs on Apple, Android and Windows tablets and smart-phones.
It provides a similiar experience to the portal,
and supports the same forms and transactions.
The mobile field worker is particularly useful for filling in forms in a offline or partially connected environment,
and for field worker task allocation.
We hope that this has given you an overview of some of the enterprise class features
built into the Avoka Transact platform.
Please check out our other feature videos for more details.
