Hi my name is Lita Clints and im a yoga teacher at schoolhouse yoga located in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania and I'm here today on behalf of expert village to show you to demonstrate
and to teach you some inversions. So a lot of these poses when you first start to practice
them its really helpful to have a quaulified teacher instruct you. Make sure you doing
it properly especially when you do the headstands and youre putting weight onto your head. You
can always use a wall and have a wall behind you if you're afraid that you might fall over
when youre doing these poses. And again I encourage you to keep your belly drawn in
using your core muscles to help balance you in these poses. Next we're going to try the
handstand . This is a good pose to have a wall in front of you to keep you from falling
over. You're going to bring your hands a short distance and youre going to keep your gaze
down to the floor. You're going to come in to the downward facing dog pose . Walk your
feet forward and when youre ready kick your feet up to the wall you can keep your feet
againt the wall and keep pressing your hand on the floor . Don"t bend your elbows, make
sure you keep your elbows straight. And if it feels comfortable for you to just take
one foot away fora few reps ,take the other foot forward for a few reps and if you feel
ready go ahead and bring both fet away from the wall. When you are ready to come out of
the pose go ahead and bring your feet down to the floor.
