This is your brain before exercise. This is your brain after.
It's no secret exercise is healthy for your brain,
but how? As you exercise, your heart rate increases.
Your brain recognizes the increased heart rate as stress,
and releases endorphins and proteins that play important roles in brain cell
growth,
mood regulation and learning. When you exercise your brain generates new
neurons that lead to a measurable increase in brain power
the brain also releases serotonin, which boost your mood and ultimately makes you
a happier person
What people typically referred to as the runner's high is actually your brain
releasing special endorphins that make your brain
more resistant to stress and pain in the future. You should exercise for at least
30 minutes before you can feel these chain reactions in the brain.
And you should also develop a regular routine of exercise before you can feel
the long-term effects resiliency
Stay resilient. Stay informed.
