The people application on your Samsung Focus S gives you quick access to your social networking feeds,
contacts and more.
Watch this video to learn how to set up an account and import your contacts.
To start, touch the people application from the start screen.
Then touch set up account. Choose your social networking account.
For this example, we will use Facebook.
Enter your credentials and touch sign in when complete.
To add another account touch more menu options at the bottom of your screen.
Then, touch Settings Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Then, touch add an account. Select twitter.
Note that some accounts may require you to sync a windows live account to your device to continue.
If you have not set up a windows live account, follow the on screen prompts to set up your account.
If you have an account simply touch connect.
Read the authorization prompt and enter your twitter user name and password.
Then touch authorize app to continue.
Scroll back up to the top of the page and touch filter my contact list.
Here you have the option to select which accounts to view contacts from.
To view contacts from an account touch the check box next to that account.
Touch the check mark icon at the bottom to finish.
Touch the back key.
Once your accounts have been loaded, you will see your newsfeeds and updates under the ?what?s new? tab.
You can easily comment or reply to a post by touching the icons next to the post.
Swipe to the all tab.
Here you will be able to view all of your contacts. To quickly search for a contact, touch the magnifying glass icon.
Then type in the contacts name. Touch the contact to select.
Within the contact?s profile, you have the option to pin the contact to the start screen,
link the contact with other contacts, or edit the contacts information and settings.
