If you're a fan of McDonald's calorie-packed breakfast — especially those hash browns
(Mmm), but you always find yourself pulling up to the window at 10:15 to a lunch menu.
Fret no more...Actually, we'll let you hear it straight from Mickey D's CEO.
CNBCC: "Have you ever considered, this is a big one, having McDonalds serve breakfast
all day long?" THOMPSON: "Yes, we would consider it.... This
innovation center has come up with some innovative way of us expanding the breakfast hours."

So, Ronald is considering serving us breakfast all day. But is that actually a good thing?
Because the reality is the fast food restaurant's Big Breakfast with Hotcakes comes in at 1,090
calories — that's more than half the recommended daily serving. (Via McDonald's)
There are healthier choices like the, uh, Fruit 'N Yogurt Parfait. And the company has
recently added a less calorie packed counterpart to the famous Egg Mcmuffin.
The Egg White Delight McMuffin. It has 250 calories — 50 less than the original and
is served on a whole grain English muffin with cheddar Cheese and Canadian bacon. (Via

But breakfast isn't the only change that could be in Mcdonald's future. A writer for International
Digital Times points out "Don Thompson is also considering some even crazier ideas."
Like: "A McDonald's mobile app. McDonald's loyalty cards. McDonald's delivery. McDonald's
delivery, people! Can you even imagine howgreat terrible great terrible great terrible great
of an idea that is?"
Yes, great, terrible — it's a hard decision. Because we may want it, but do we really need
more Mickey Ds in our lives? The company sure needs us to need it.
Especially after the first-quarter results proved less than desirable. (Via Chicago

And that competition isn't just going to go away. Burger King is already dabbling in delivery
in a number of major U.S. cities. (Via The Huffington Post)
Currently Mcdonalds serves about 69 million people in 119 countries from 34,000 restaurants
everyday. (Via KGW)
